A pie contest wouldn’t be a pie contest without berry pies. Last year our fruit pie category was so full of great entries that this year, we’ve broken it up into several categories; stone fruit, fruit, and berry.

Oregon is so lucky to have a plethora of gorgeous delicious berries, and so it makes perfect sense that we at the Portland Pie-Off have partnered with the Oregon Raspberry and Blackberry Commission.

There will be a special prize awarded to the winner of the berry category! What it is, you’ll have to wait and see, but word is, it’s nice.

And the grand prize winner of the Portland Pie-Off? You will have the opportunity to be an esteemed judge for the “Finest Marionberry Pie in Oregon” competition held during the Oregon State Fair in Salem, August 28th, 4:00 pm.
